About Cairngorm Recovery Lodge
A granite lodge on the edge of the Cairngorms, built around the least fashionable part of recovery: sleep. Rooms are dark, quiet and cool, the hill walk goes out after breakfast, and the afternoon belongs to the sauna and the cold plunge on the terrace. Dinner is at seven, there is no television in the house, and the signal is poor enough that the digital detox mostly takes care of itself. Most guests book a week and say the first proper night's sleep arrived on the third.
